Over seven years of continuous development partnership with a Finnish public-sector organisation. First as a full-stack developer, today as DevOps Lead — responsibility has grown from individual features to leading the whole delivery pipeline and production reliability.
Long-term production responsibility
A long-term partnership on a large public-sector e-services platform: citizen-facing digital services used daily that must run reliably in production year after year. The work began with full-stack development — React and TypeScript front-ends and Java/Spring Boot back-end services, with integrations to other systems and strong authentication (OAuth2/OIDC).
From full-stack delivery to DevOps Lead
Over the years the role has grown into DevOps Lead: ownership of the whole delivery pipeline and production stability — CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), server and environment automation (Ansible), containerisation (Docker), plus secrets management and environment lifecycle. The length of the engagement speaks to trust, and to solutions that hold up in production — not a one-off gig but a system whose reliability is an ongoing responsibility.
