Kierto Commerce is a multi-tenant SaaS platform for equipment rental: each customer runs their own marketplace on the same shared platform. Designed and built end to end as a serverless architecture on AWS, including multi-party payments and per-tenant customisation.
One shared platform for multiple marketplaces
Kierto Commerce is a multi-tenant SaaS platform where several customers each run their own equipment-rental marketplace on one shared platform — renting instead of owning, in the spirit of the circular economy. The platform is built entirely as a serverless architecture on AWS: back-end services on AWS Lambda and DynamoDB, a GraphQL API, authentication via Cognito, and multi-party payments through Stripe Connect. The infrastructure is code with SST, so environments are reproducible and the platform scales automatically with demand — up under load, down to near-zero cost when quiet.
A product from interfaces to payment flows
The interfaces (the tenant marketplace and an admin dashboard) are built with React and TypeScript, with a built-in visual page editor so tenants can customise their own look and content. It’s a complete product from idea to production — from architecture and payment integrations to UI and launch.
